About us
Stephen Bristol is the owner of ACE scapes, LLC. Steve worked in the financial field for over 15 years,
holding degrees in accounting and finance. In search of change from a sedentary career to a more active
one, Steve left his established job and began working for landscaping companies in central New York,
where he resided. After gaining additional experience in the field, Steve started his landscaping company,
quickly growing to over 100 weekly clients and a multitude of landscaping jobs. After building his
company for seven years, it was time to change things up once again. Steve, his wife, their dog, cat, and
two horses picked up and moved from central New York to Ocala in August of 2023.
Ocala's temperate climate and horse country were an obvious draw; however, the growth within the
community, friendly faces, being near family, and opportunities for new adventures and activities made
the decision to relocate an easy one.
What's in a name?
The name ACE scapes was inspired by Steve's most recent horse, "Masked Effort," a.k.a. Ace. Ace embodied an independent yet focused personality, a willingness to work hard every day, and had a notable presence about him- gaining and maintaining the respect and admiration of many trainers and riders in the industry. Intending to develop an Ocala-based business known for its accountability and high
level of performance, with a customer service mindset- the decision to name the business in honor of this remarkable animal was an easy one. Ace ultimately led to Steve meeting his wife, Danielle, a fellow equestrian.
